(2026). doi:10.1016/j.bpj.2026.07.018 The code mirrors what is available at: https://github.com/holehouse-lab/supportingdata/tree/master/2026/perets_2026 NOTE that the STARLING version used here is V1 (the UNET-based diffusion model), whereas at the time of writing, STARLING is at V2, which uses a ViT-based backend for the diffusion model. This change does not alter the conclusions of the paper but does slightly change the numerical values.
