Geometry of hard sciences

Type: article
Abstract: We apply the 2D Heuristic of the Intelligible to the hard sciences, diagnosing their local attractor: explanatory power and technological ap- plication. Science is a projection of the intelligible — a resolution of tension between abstraction and contingency. However, it has become trapped in a local attractor, mistaking technological utility for ontologi- cal truth. This paper does not dismiss science — it locates it. The goal is not critique, but illumination: to show that science is a real and necessary projection, but not the only one.
