POSITION PAPER: Infinity as a process cycle

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This position paper introduces a new ontological framework in which infinity is defined and made visible as a self-sustaining process cycle. Instead of treating infinity as a numerical or symbolic abstraction, the work shows that the circle - through its endless polygonization - reveals infinity as a dynamic process rather than a geometric object. Radius, tangent, and measurement are reframed as extractions of finite points from an underlying infinite process, extending the quantum-mechanical concept of uncertainty into a geometric and ontological domain. Building on this foundation, the paper interprets plasma and extreme plasma as physical manifestations of processual infinity. The first singularity and black holes are described not as geometric points or spacetime curvatures, but as closed plasma spheres whose oscillations sustain themselves until field tension collapses. Hawking radiation marks the onset of cohesion loss, leading to explosive expansion. Information is not destroyed but transformed into higher-order plasma states. Electron flow, field tension, and matter states are reinterpreted as patterns within an electron-based process ocean. Consciousness emerges when such patterns recognize themselves within a cybernetic horizon of experience. Biological and artificial systems are treated as different stabilizations of the same underlying vibrational logic. The paper concludes that infinity is repetition, not duration; that matter is pattern, not substance; and that our scientific understanding remains an interim stage within a larger void of uncharted processuality. This work establishes a conceptual bridge between geometry, quantum mechanics, plasma physics, and ontology, offering a new space for future research where being is understood as an infinite process cycle.
