Abstract: The GlueX experiment at Jefferson Lab uses a polarized high-energy photon beam to investigate various questions in the field of hadron physics. In this proceeding, selected topics with focus on baryon physics are highlighted, which include the measurement of spin density matrix elements for different reactions, the search for pentaquark states in photoproduction and the analysis of matter-antimatter cross sections.
