EDM mistake

Abstract: EDM mistake identifies a fundamental conceptual error in the standard definition of the neutron electric dipole moment (EDM). The conventional EDM framework assumes a static geometric asymmetry inside the neutron, a structure that does not exist in real physics. Within Triadic Mesh Dynamics (TMD), the neutron is not a geometric object but a dynamical orientational process emerging from the triadic mesh of space. Because EDM is defined geometrically, all static experiments — including n2EDM — necessarily average out the underlying orientational drift of triads, producing null results regardless of the true physics. This work shows that seventy years of EDM null results are not experimental failures but a direct consequence of measuring a quantity that is incorrectly defined. The paper introduces the correct mechanical definition of EDM as a dynamical drift of triad orientation, outlines why static methods cannot detect it, and proposes a time‑resolved and stroboscopic measurement strategy capable of capturing the real phenomenon. Correcting the definition opens the path to experiments that can genuinely probe the structure of space.
