Monitoring the 3D + time dynamics of sub-cellular components in plants
Year: 2026
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: The control of cell division plane orientation is essential for morphogenesis in plants. Our goal is to provide an integrative view of the plant cell division in a time-resolved canvas describing the dynamics of subcellular structures such as microtubule arrays, nucleus positionning and cell geometry during the cell cycle in Arabidopsis thaliana plant. To monitor this over time, we have developed fluorescent multimarker lines, an automated high-resolution live imaging tracking system of the root meristematic zone and a microfluidic system to keep plants in optimum conditions during observation.
