Abstract: Tryptophan–kynurenine pathway biomarkers in prostate cancer survivors and controls (project 5). Comparison of circulating levels of tryptophan, kynurenine, and the kynurenine/tryptophan ratio between prostate cancer survivors and age-matched controls. The figure demonstrates elevated kynurenine pathway activity among survivors, suggesting altered immune regulation and stress-related metabolic processes that may contribute to symptom burden and survivorship outcomes.
