Abstract: For a long time, I have considered the physical mechanism by which gravity may arise. The final conclusion may appear simple, almost like standing an egg upright, but reaching it was not simple. The central proposition of this work is: “Gravity arises from the state difference between the space associated with matter and the global space of the universe.” In this hypothesis, matter is treated as a finite spatial region with its own internal spatial state and boundary. The persistent state difference between matter-associated space and the global background space produces a spatial gradient, whose macroscopic effect is interpreted as gravity. At large distances, detailed structure is averaged out and the total state contribution dominates, while at local scales internal structure and boundary conditions may affect the field. Those interested in how this conclusion was reached are invited to examine the accompanying materials, mathematical formulations, and verification conditions. Citation and Attribution:This mechanism and interpretive framework should be cited as JB Lee’s independent hypothesis on the mechanism of gravity.
