Abstract: Background Currently, pet adoption has increased significantly, and these animals require regular medical checkups to preserve their health and well-being. Veterinary consultations face growing difficulties, clinical records continuously increase, and many veterinary facilities still do not integrate digital tools that eliminate slow and cumbersome manual processes. This situation causes dissatisfaction among pet owners and veterinary professionals. To address this problem, VETCORESSEN, a web application developed to streamline the management of veterinary medical records through a unified digital environment, is proposed. Methods VETCORESSEN was built using the client-server architecture. The application was developed in PHP with Laravel, applying the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern and the Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigm. MariaDB was used for the database. Tables were managed through migrations and seeders, while persistent records were handled using Eloquent, an object-relational mapping (ORM) tool. Results VETCORESSEN successfully managed veterinary medical records, specifically for clients, pets, appointments, and clinical histories. Consequently, the application established itself as a primary support tool for clinical data. Its functionalities ensured patient health traceability to improve medical decision-making. Conclusions VETCORESSEN successfully managed veterinary data; specifically, client, pet, and appointment records, as well as clinical histories. Consequently, this application established itself as the primary support tool for healthcare information. Its features ensured patient health traceability to enable improved medical decision-making.
