Abstract: This article studies a pedagogical model for developing civic competence in students, which consists of four structural foundations and includes such principles as integrity, the humane orientation of upbringing, consideration of age and individual characteristics, and the harmony of upbringing with social life, as well as the issues of introducing this model into practice.
