The Morphology of Coherence: A Necessary Nested Continuation of the Morphology of Organizational Continuity

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: The Morphology of Organizational Continuity establishes a pre-observer requirement: a continuation is admissible only if relations nominated as necessary for that continuation are preserved. That result is obligation-wise. It does not by itself determine whether several necessary relations can remain organizationally valid together. This paper develops the missing nested morphology. For a declared continuation property P, boundary B, necessary-relation set NP, identity and ancestry criterion IA, and non-metric continuation extent EP, four distinct responsibilities are separated: individual preservation, joint realizability, actual joint realization (Agreement), and predecessor-specific carry-forward. Coherence is then defined as the cross-edge joint sustainability of still-operative required relations, with declared carry-forward where ancestry matters. The central result is a derived necessity theorem: ContinuationP(O, B, EP) ⇒ CP(NP, B, EP) The theorem is not a new primitive axiom, synchronization law, metric law, or observer theory. It is the typed consequence exposed when continuation depends on a plurality of relations that must remain jointly operative. The paper ends with a preregistered countermodel standard: a critic must exhibit genuine continuation of the declared property while the declared Coherence condition fails, without changing boundary, nominations, ancestry, extent, or failure mapping after the outcome.
