Abstract: The article studies the process of transporting cotton through pipes by means of pneumatic transport from cotton heaps located at various distances at cotton ginning enterprises. Through the installation of an inverter device on the pneumatic transport motor, the reduction of any negative effects during the starting of the motor (starting torque), the increase of the motor's operating efficiency and energy saving are considered.
