Neutrino as an Accounting Trick.

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: This work demonstrates that the neutrino is not a physically necessary entity but an accounting term introduced into beta‑decay equations to preserve unitarity in Fermi’s formalism. Within Triadic Mesh Dynamics (TMD), the missing energy in beta decay is not carried away by a particle but corresponds to an orientational debt outflow of the triadic network during the relaxation of the unstable neutron state. The neutron is interpreted as an orientational state of the proton with a reversed triad, and its decay is a two‑phase mechanical process: a local orientational correction forming the electron, followed by a delocalized orientational impulse traditionally misidentified as a neutrino. Experiments such as KATRIN do not measure neutrino mass but the spectral boundary of this orientational outflow. The extreme energy range attributed to neutrinos—from 10⁻² eV to 10¹⁸ eV—is naturally explained as the amplitude range of orientational impulses in the triadic network. The neutrino has no particle identity in TMD; it is a historical formal construct arising from the limitations of unitary models.
