Abstract: Drying medicinal plants is an important process for preserving their bioactive substances and maintaining their quality over a long period. The correct choice of drying method has a direct effect on the chemical composition and the medicinal properties of the plants. This article covers in detail the various drying technologies, their effectiveness and also the process of drying rosehip. The main stages of the drying process, its optimal conditions and the criteria for assessing quality are presented. The results of the research show that infrared and microwave drying technologies are considered the most effective for preserving bioactive substances.
