Spectral Morphogenesis: A Stateful Spectral Dynamical System over Harmonic-Index Space

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: SUPERSEDED VERSION — DO NOT USE FOR CURRENT IMPLEMENTATION.This v1.0 record is retained to preserve the original publication and priority record. It has been superseded by the corrected and audited v1.1 release. Please cite and use v1.1. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22665327 A real-time spectral effect maintaining an internal reaction-diffusion-drift state over harmonic-index space, converted to a bounded voice (S_{t+1}=Phi(S_t,X_t), Y=Psi(S)). Third in a sequence (Harmonic Shell Model = structure; Emission Cascade = voice; this = dynamics). Reaction-diffusion sound synthesis is established prior art (Martin 1996; Serquera & Miranda 2008; REAGENTE 2026); the claim is the specific coupling: RD+drift over a harmonic-index/dyadic-shell substrate, input-conditioned, with bounded resonant read-out. Includes the Morphogen implementation, an audit, and a quantitative field characterisation (liveness, spectral motion, spatial organisation, boundedness). No AI; bounded-at-source (no limiter).
