Abstract: The Results of treatment of 85 patients with postoperative and recurrent hernia of anterior abdominal wall have been analized in the article. The Patients underwent autoplastic and alloplastic («onlay» and «sublay» technique) operations.I nvestigations showed that employment of alloplastic metods of anterior abdominal wall plasty makes it possible to increase efficacy of surgical treatment of postoperative and recurrent hernia of anterior abdominal wall, to decrease the number of recurrencies, to improve qualitative features of postoperative period course
