Abstract: The development of new medical technologies makes it possible to take a fresh look at the tactics of treating acquired strictures of the ureters and the ureteral pelvic segment (URS). In balloon dilatation (BD) of acquired ureteral strictures, the overall success rate was 81%. Eleven patients (17.4%) required re-dilation and placement of a flexible sleeve stent. The DB has shown itself to be a technically simple and effective procedure that can become an alternative to open surgical interventions
