Abstract: The book reviews specific psychiatric and neurological diseases, their features, classification, diagnoses, approaches of translating the scientific understanding of pathological processes towards therapeutic interventions. There is an optimistic outlook for new neurotherapies based on breakthrough science, systematic monitoring of disease, a mature and efficient translational ecosystem. Serendipitously discovered neurotherapeutics have been replaced by systematically identified and developed agents and methods. Finally, we are entering a new phase supported, accelerated, enabled by AI at each step of the process.
