The Frozen Wave: Evidence for a Thermal Asymmetry Coefficient β(T) in Nuclear Stability and Thermonuclear Debris
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: We propose the Core-Hole Cosmology (CHC) model, a wave-mechanical extension to the Semi-Empirical Mass Formula (SEMF). We posit that nuclear stability is governed by a frozen standing wave, whose asymmetry is set by a thermal expansion coefficient β(T). This coefficient dictates the frozen value of N-Z during nucleosynthesis. The model predicts 3 resonant peaks in N-Z space. We present evidence for a specific value of β_bomb ≈ 0.6 from the isotopic debris of thermonuclear tests, a prediction not made by standard SEMF. This provides experimental support for CHC.
