Abstract: We investigate whether dimensional deconstruction can qualitatively modify long-range forces. We show that the deconstruction of a five-dimensional AdS spacetime effectively generates an inverse-square potential, which naturally gives rise to broad p-wave Sommerfeld resonances without fine-tuning. We then apply this mechanism to dark matter phenomenology.
