The Universal Wellness Project: Co-Adapting a Single Session Intervention (SSI) Platform Dissemination Toolkit for St. Joseph’s County, to Streamline Scale-Up
Year: 2026
Type: other
Abstract: In partnership with researchers from the University of Notre Dame and community members (parents, healthcare agency leadership/clinicians, school leaders/staff, and youth), this study aims to create a digital dissemination toolkit for providers in St. Joseph’s County, Indiana, to readily and successfully deploy a co-developed mental health intervention platform, called Project YES for St. Joseph’s youth (ages 12-17). Project YES is an evidence-based tool for increasing wellbeing and improving mental health. Youth in St. Joseph’s County report high rates of mental health problems and a lack of available mental healthcare providers and resources. Project YES aims to provide an accessible and scalable solution. Given the unique needs of St. Joseph’s County youth and the provider networks they are a part of, a dissemination toolkit adapted to local use is needed to effectively implement and disseminate the SSI platform.
