How Early Exposure Shapes Decision-Making
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Starting serious market study in adolescence leverages a unique neurodevelopmental window where learning, cognitive flexibility, and behavioural occur more rapidly. This paper synthesises evidence from adolescent, behavioural finance, skill-acquisition research, and educational psychology to demonstrate why early training produces durable advantages in future financial-market performance. It also outlines a structured 24 months curriculum for young analysts, measurable KPIs, and ethical considerations. Additional real-world analogies from competitive fields (chess, mathematics, classical music) show how early deliberate practice compounds over time into elite performance. Ultimately, this paper positions youth not as a limitation but as a supported structural edge.
