Abstract: The study aims to investigate the influences of motivational incentives on cognitive performance, psychological responses, and physiological responses. The study also aims to improve our understanding of the distinct psychological and physiological states that emerge when individuals are motivated to pursue rewards versus when they are motivated to avoid penalties.
