Intellectual Modeling Methodology (MANHAJ) — Reference Document — Version 1.0

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: The Intellectual Modeling Methodology (MANHAJ) is an interdisciplinary methodology that aims to establish a systematic way of approaching intellectual, epistemic, and human phenomena by uncovering their reference structures and the relationships organized within them, and then representing these relationships as concepts and models that can be analyzed and measured. The methodology addresses not only results and directly observable facts, but also the foundation that precedes the epistemic act, including the references and centers around which the field under study is organized. It distinguishes between A Priori Inquiry and A Posteriori Inquiry, and between knowledge as a derivative movement from a reference toward details and thought as an integrative movement that reconnects domains and details toward an overall foundation. MANHAJ is structured as a generative methodological framework comprising three theoretical systems and seven governing laws. These theories and laws provide an organized architecture for defining concepts, examining reference structures, modeling relations, and understanding the mechanisms through which meaning and knowledge are formed and connected. MANHAJ is not presented as a single theory or a closed system, but as a generative methodological framework within which concepts, definitions, theories, laws, mechanisms, and models are organized, while remaining open to subsequent formulations, studies, and applications. The Arabic edition constitutes the original language version of the reference document. The French and English editions provide corresponding official translations of the same Version 1.0 document. This record contains the Reference Document of the Intellectual Modeling Methodology (MANHAJ), Version 1.0, September 2026, in three language editions: Arabic, French, and English.
