Abstract: In this paper, we establish the validity of the Hilbert expansion for the coupled radiation-Euler model with non-relativistic source term for general initial data on the torus $\mathbb{T}^{3}$, which leads to the simplified equilibrium-diffusion limit and the initial layer corrections for the radiation intensity coupled with the temperature.
