The Liquid Galactica: Toward Persistent Digital Mind, Whole-Brain Emulation, Causal Information, Quantum-Biology-Aware Modeling, and AI-Accelerated Neurocomputing
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Liquid Galactica is a technical exploration of whole-brain emulation, digital mind persistence, and AI-accelerated neuroscience. The paper examines how advances in connectomics, large-scale brain simulation, neuromorphic computing, information theory, computational biology, and next-generation artificial intelligence may converge toward the reconstruction and preservation of human cognitive architectures. It introduces a mathematically grounded framework for identifying the minimum causal information required to reproduce memory, cognition, and adaptive behavior, while analyzing the engineering, biological, computational, and philosophical challenges involved. Rather than treating digital immortality as an assumption, Liquid Galactica investigates it as a long-term scientific question emerging from the intersection of brain science, advanced computing, and future intelligent systems.
