Abstract: This study aimed to examine the roles of social support, coping skills, and marital satisfaction in the psychological well-being of parents raising children with special needs. Parents in this context face complex caregiving demands; thus, psychological well-being is a crucial aspect of effective caregiving. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed, involving 214 respondents from the Solo Raya region selected via purposive sampling. Data were collected using the PERMA-Profiler, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), the Positive Coping Skills scale (a subscale of the FAM), and the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction (EMS) scale, and were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that, individually, coping skills and marital satisfaction have a significant influence, whereas social support does not have a significant direct effect. These findings suggest that the ability to manage stress adaptively and positively, along with the quality of the marital relationship, are key factors in enhancing the psychological well-being of parents raising children with special needs.
