Abstract: Quantum hashing is a well-known technique. In this paper, we present a new construction of a quantum hash function based on binary error-correcting codes. The construction of the quantum hash strongly resembles the quantum state preparation in QKD protocols (e.g., BB84 protocol) and can be implemented on current QKD-devices.
