Data and code for Bibliometric Analysis of Cretaceous Paleopedology Research in South America

Abstract: This dataset and code package supports the manuscript “Bibliometric Analysis of Cretaceous Paleopedology Research in South America”. It contains derived screening and methodological-coding tables, bibliometric outputs, analysis scripts, software session information, and workflow logs for the fixed Scopus snapshot downloaded on 24 May 2026. The analysis identified 53 core paleopedology studies and 22 contextual studies from 143 screened records. Proprietary Scopus exports and the full 53-record metadata export are excluded because redistribution is subject to database licensing restrictions. The package is provided to support transparent verification and reproducibility of the reported analyses.
