Year: 2026
Type: dissertation
Abstract: Aging is a progressive and multifactorial biological process characterized by the gradual decline of physiological function and increased susceptibility to chronic diseases and death. With the continuous rise in global life expectancy, delaying aging and promoting healthy aging have become major scientific and public health priorities. SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and ProductionThis study emphasizes the use of naturally derived polyphenols for health interventions and supports the scientific development and rational utilization of highvalue bioactive compounds from plant resources. In this way, it contributes to more sustainable models for the development of food and health-related products. SDG 4: Quality EducationThis study establishes a systematic knowledge framework at the intersection of aging biology, nutrition, metabolomics, and epigenetics. It can serve as an important academic resource for higher education, scientific training, and talent development in the life and health sciences.
