Study design: Case Report
Abstract: We present the case of a female patient of 45 years old that presented progressive dyspnea, tachycardia, taquypnea and lower extremity edema with V/Q scan that reports pulmonary thromboembolism and Transthoracic Echocardiogram that suggest severe pulmonary hypertension. Treatment was based on anticoagulation at that moment, although we had to consider the possibility of a factor prearranger for Pulmonary Thromboembolism, for example the presence of a malignant disease or trombophilia.
