Abstract: Family caregiver plays an important role for caring of cerebrovascular disease person at home. In Thailand 4.0 era, family caregiver can use information technology such as applications to increase effective care. Pressure sore is a potential complication of patients with mobility limitations especially among cerebrovascular disease person. Pressure sore affects physical and mental health in both cerebrovascular disease person and family caregiver. Family caregiver must have capacity and confidence to provide care for cerebrovascular disease person in health care system. This article presented the review literature of pressure sore in cerebrovascular disease person, competency of caregiver, and interventions for pressure sore prevention at home; and experiences of the author’s home visit. The results could contribute to synthesize new interventions for pressure sore prevention at home and test by research process in the future.
