Il ruolo dei bias cognitivi nel gioco d’azzardo problematico: Un’analisi integrata tra ricerca e intervento clinico
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The article explores the role of cognitive biases in problem gambling, offering a review of the scientific literature and a reflection based on the clinical experience of the Polo DGA Area Est (Centro Diurno Lilliput– ASL Na 1 Centro). Based on Zinberg's (1984) theoretical model, gambling disorder is analyzed as the outcome of the interaction between personal variables (set), contextual variables (setting), and characteristics of the game (gambling). Cognitive biases are configured as central factors, both in the onset and maintenance of dysfunctional behavior, and take on different meanings in relation to the player's characteristics and the preferred type of game. doi: 10.53240/2025topic4n2.2.003
