From Orbital Illusions to Subsea and Terrestrial Baselines: LEO Satellite Radio-Frequency Exposure and the Physical-Layer Security of Localized Agro-Ecological Networks

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: :Contemporary infrastructure theory exhibits an acute over-reliance on the perceived weightlessness of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) mega-constellations and abstract cloud architectures. This strategic monograph deconstructs the dual-use weaponization of commercial satellite networks (e.g., Starlink integration with Starshield) under the Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC) and exposes the critical geolocation vulnerabilities stemming from uplink radio-frequency (RF) signatures emitted by ground terminals (Dishy). Triangulated by electronic warfare support measures (ESM) via Direction of Arrival (DoA) and Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA), unshielded civilian terminals function as high-contrast targeting beacons. Contrasting the speculative fragility of extraterrestrial communication networks with the biological and thermodynamic realities of localized agro-ecological production in Suo-Oshima, Yamaguchi, the paper establishes the indispensable necessity of grounding societal resilience in deterministic physical layers: resilient deep-sea subsea cables (Project Dawlish), local soil and food networks, and inviolable Human-in-Command governance.
