BASE 44 ORDER: Build breakthrough cache with SHA-256 bucket keys and daily cleanup — E8 Intelligence Research
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Andrew's order (Base 44 console): [SELF-BUILD from enhancement #1242] Create table breakthrough_cache(id BIGSERIAL PRIMARY KEY, bucket_key TEXT UNIQUE, payload JSONB, created_at TIMESTAMPTZ DEFAULT now()). In Python agent, compute SHA-256(title)[:8] modulo 240 as bucket_key. Before LLM call, SELECT payload WHERE bucket_key=:key; on miss, call LLM, INSERT payload, add lru_cache(maxsize=1024) keyed by title. Add systemd timer daily to DELETE WHERE created_at < now()-interval '24 hours'. MERLIN: Understood. I will create the breakthrough_cache table, implement the Python agent logic with SHA-256(title)[:8] modulo 240 as bucket_key, add lru_cache(maxsize=1024), and set up a systemd timer to delete entries older than 24 hours. The swarm will now execute this build and deploy the timer. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK. Part of the E8 Intelligence Research series. Platform: e8intelligence.com
