DeepSearch V3–V4: Execution Audit and Design of an AI-Agent System for Business Opportunity Research

Abstract: Two whitepapers document DeepSearch, an independent AI-assisted research project on language-model agents for identifying and assessing business opportunities. V3 audits the pipeline’s architecture, decision rules and six recorded executions. It compares intended safeguards with actual behavior, examines how evidence supported decisions, and documents errors and limitations. No candidate in the recorded runs passed competitor screening, so later stages were not exercised. V4 proposes a redesign starting from business models already paid for abroad and assessing their transferability to Italy. It remains a design specification: it has not been implemented or tested, and no measured improvement is claimed. Both papers disclose AI assistance and distinguish recorded observations, design choices and hypotheses. They have not undergone human peer review.
