More Records, Less Entropy: Exact Information Retention in a Reversible Formation Tape
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: This unreviewed theoretical study develops the earlier reversible formation-tape model to distinguish optimal parameter estimation from quantum hypothesis testing and state recovery. Within a specified qubit–qutrit collision model, it derives count-preserving information identities, exact entropy laws for correlated phase noise, a criterion for recovery of the quantum state family from classical counts, and finite-size binary-discrimination formulas. It also treats readout and coupling calibration, conditional tape reset, and small-system tests using two-cell observables and two-copy purity measurements. The stated advantages and resource bounds depend on the specified model, measurement and calibration assumptions. No experimental measurements are reported. This P19.5 release includes the English manuscript, Turkish translation, English technical supplement, a generic submission cover letter and a Turkish development report. This is a new version of the P19 record previously titled “More Records, Less Entropy: Exact Information Retention in a Reversible Formation Tape.” The earlier version remains available in the version history. Source materials: P19_5_Source.zip contains the editable LaTeX documents, bibliography, calculation scripts, precomputed synthetic outputs, figures and the five PDFs. P19_5_LaTeX.zip is the compact manuscript-compilation package. Package assembly and dependency-file reconstruction are documented in PACKAGE_RECONSTRUCTION.txt inside the combined archive; the scientific sources, calculation scripts and supplied PDFs are unchanged.
