Abstract: Replication package for the research article "The Stabilisation Gap: Artificial Intelligence Exposure and Macroeconomic Policy Space in the World's Ten Largest Economies" (Alfredo Agustín Merlet Echavarría, 2026). The package reproduces all tables and figures of the article. It contains:- data/raw: unmodified downloads from the IMF DataMapper (World Economic Outlook October 2026, Fiscal Monitor April 2026, Public Finances in Modern History, AI Preparedness Index), World Bank World Development Indicators, BIS central bank policy rates, Stanford HAI Global AI Vibrancy data (September 2025 release), ILOSTAT employment by occupation (survey data and ILO modelled estimates), the AI Occupational Exposure (AIOE) data of Felten, Raj and Seamans, and the BLS ISCO-08 to 2010 SOC crosswalk, with a SHA-256 manifest;- scripts: Python code that builds the occupational AI exposure index, the AI capacity and policy-space measures, runs the hypothesis tests (exact permutation and randomisation inference) and the calibrated natural-rate and debt-dynamics exercise, and draws the figures;- output and figures: all result tables (CSV) and Figures 1-3 (PNG, 300 dpi). A clean run reproduces every output table byte for byte (fixed random seed). All sources were accessed on 13 October 2026. See README.md for instructions.
