The Primon (the new Aether?)

Abstract: We propose a geometric framework, T³U², in which space is not a container of energy but is itself energy, so that the energy density of a region of space is its pressure (1 J/m³ = 1 Pa). The framework begins from the balance statement 0 = 0 and reads the first distinction as a balance point, the Fulcrum, between our spatial domain and an Aspatial Domain that resists its expansion. A governing rule, the Primon, constrains how energy entering through the Fulcrum may organise: first as incoherent Primal Light, observed as empty space, then as identical planar units (BENs) set by the Planck length, from which matter condenses. Written in fluid form, the framework's equations reduce exactly to Euler's equation, ρm a = −∇p, and hence to F = ma, once mass is read as displaced energy, m = E/c². On this reading inertia is the energy that surrounding compression and rarefaction must move, and force is a density imbalance resolving. We give a first candidate model of the Aspatial resistance, tie its elasticity to the measurable cost of thermal expansion, and show that solitary-wave mathematics (Korteweg–de Vries and granular chains) supplies the form a lattice propagation law would take. We record a numerical relation between the golden angle and the fine-structure constant, 360/φ² − 2/φ³ = 137.03563 against α⁻¹ = 137.03600 (2.7 ppm), which reproduces the elementary charge from the Planck charge to 1.4 ppm; no derivation is claimed. Consequences are drawn for magnetism, read as a hole in space, for the neutron, read as the empty centre of a twelve-sphere shell, and for charge. We list concrete tests, including a vacuum spin-down test of a precessing wheel, and state what would falsify the framework. The paper closes by comparing E = mc² with E = pV. A note to the reader: this paper asks for a shift in how space itself is pictured, and moving straight to its scientific form can be difficult. Readers may find it helpful to read the undergraduate edition first, THE PRIMON (The New Aether?), Undergraduate Edition with Technical Addenda, Release 1.0 (October 2026), which builds the same ideas step by step with examples and figures.
