Corporate Sovereignty: Prologue and Introduction
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Prologue and Introduction of the forthcoming book Corporate Sovereignty («Корпорат-Суверенитет»), published in English and Russian. The book argues that every state follows the same cycle of formation, concentration of power, stagnation, dictatorship, revolution and collapse, and that the cause lies in its construction: a state cannot be exited. It proposes a different structure, in which sovereignty belongs to the subject rather than to territory, the right to decide grows out of contribution and risk, and dissent is expressed by leaving rather than by force. The book is addressed to boards, founders, engineers and investors. This is a preliminary publication of an excerpt from a manuscript in progress. The text may change in the final edition of the book. Author's page for the book: https://henryarne.com/corporate-sovereignty
