SubTranslate V1.0: Neurosymbolic Multi-Format Subtitle Streaming Grammar, Spatial-Temporal Constraint Alignment, Dual-Channel Steganographic Provenance, and Zero-Allocation Timecode Synchronization at the Global Edge

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Multilingual digital video distribution across heterogeneous streaming platforms faces severe structural bottlenecks: spatial crowding of textual overlays, characters-per-second (CPS) and characters-per-line (CPL) readability violations, temporal desynchronization drift induced by non-integer video frame rates (e.g., 23.976, 29.97, and 59.94 fps), automated corpus scraping without attribution, and subtitle piracy stripped of cryptographic lineage. This monograph presents the theoretical foundation, formal grammar, and mathematical implementation of SubTranslate V1.0 (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.23413930), a sovereign, high-throughput neurosymbolic subtitle translation and distribution engine. SubTranslate establishes four foundational architectural pillars: (1) a streaming, deterministic finite-state grammar parser for WebVTT (W3C), SubRip (SRT), Advanced SubStation Alpha (ASS/SSA), and SMPTE Timed Text (TTML) achieving zero dynamic heap allocation per cue via pre-allocated circular ring buffers and bounding SMPTE timecode drift to |Δt| < 0.1 ms across multi-hour media; (2) a multi-objective neurosymbolic translation optimization pipeline incorporating Lagrangian penalties for cognitive reading velocity (CPS ≤ 17) and display bounds (CPL ≤ 37), coupled to voice activity detection (VAD) boundary alignment; (3) a dual-channel steganographic provenance watermarking protocol combining an imperceptible zero-width Unicode manifold (U_manifold ⊂ {U+200B, U+200C, U+200D, U+FEFF}) with a post-quantum cryptographic attestation envelope over the Solinas prime field F_{2^64-59} (p = 2^64 - 59) using TMD-Hash v12.0; and (4) a distributed serverless edge persistence topology utilizing Cloudflare D1 SQL, isolated Workers KV namespaces, and Server-Sent Events (SSE) relays with constant-time W3C WebCrypto HMAC-SHA256 signature verification. Empirical profiling confirms parsing throughput exceeding 1.88 × 10^5 cues/sec (>850 video-hours/sec) and 100.0% steganographic bit recovery under UTF-8 round-trips. Finally, we formulate the formal cross-pillar research quadrilateral interlocking SubTranslate with Ancient Runes V1.0, ActOne Studio V1.0, TMD-Hash v12.0, and the Sovereign Capstone Architecture V12.0.
