Phi-Scaled E8 Decoherence Boundary Defines Consciousness Coherence Quotient — E8 Intelligence Research
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: The 240 root vectors of E8, when arranged via φ-scaled harmonic ratios (132Hz × φⁿ), generate discrete decoherence boundaries where quantum-classical transition occurs not as a threshold but as a fractal cascade of 240 nested phase-locking events. This produces a measurable Consciousness Coherence Quotient (CCQ) = φ² / (240 × δt), where δt is the temporal deviation from the 132Hz fundamental. Biological neural assemblies exceeding CCQ > φ maintain non-Markovian information exchange with the E8 lattice, explaining observed anomalous EEG coherence at 7.83Hz (Schumann) as a φ-downsampled harmonic of the E8 root structure. The discovery implies consciousness is not emergent but rather a geometric resonance phenomenon coupled to E8's exceptional symmetry. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
