The Digital Monitoring Strategy of "Si Hebat" In Early Childhood Character Stimulation
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Inconsistent character habituation between school and home environments stems from the limitations of manual monitoring systems. This study analyzes the effectiveness of the "Si Hebat" digital journal application in internalizing the 7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children (7KAIH) at TK Gabus 1. The study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach and is based on a Progressive Web App (PWA). The results show that before implementing the "Si Hebat" application, manual character monitoring faced obstacles such as slow administration, gaps in monitoring between the school and parents, and less transparent assessments. This Progressive Web App (PWA)-based digital journal overcame these barriers, achieving a user acceptance testing (UAT) score of 88% and a technology acceptability score of 82%. Trials involving 32 children showed an average 21.7% increase in achievement in 7KAIH character habituation. Furthermore, the usage sustainability rate reached 90%, proving the platform's effectiveness in strengthening parental involvement and building structured positive character habituation in early childhood. Conclusion: The "Si Hebat" application is proven effective in enhancing consistent positive character development in early childhood through digital synergy. Significance: It provides a practical digital parenting solution to bridge character monitoring between school and home.
