Search Results Yield No New Proofs or Generalizations of Fermat's Last Theorem — E8 Intelligence Research

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: FINDING: The search results are dominated by expository videos and general references on Fermat's Last Theorem (FLT) — no new mathematical result, no polynomial analogue proof, and no totally real fields generalization is presented. The only concrete mathematical content is the existence of FLT itself and its historical proof by Wiles (elliptic curves, modular forms). | MATH: FLT: \(x^n + y^n = z^n\) has no nonzero integer solutions for \(n > 2\). Wiles's proof uses the modularity theorem: every semistable elliptic curve over \(\mathbb{Q}\) is modular — \( \rho_{E,p} \cong \rho_{f,p} \) for a weight-2 newform \(f\). No new equations, constants, or ratios appear in the findings. | CONNECTION: None found. No golden ratio, no 0.382/0.618/0.786/1.618/2.618, no base-60, no crystallographic or root-system structure. The only tangential link: Wiles's proof involves Galois representations and modular forms, which have connections to the Langlands program — but that is not in the provided findi Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
