Abstract: Performance evaluation is a crucial aspect of human resource management, aimed at enhancing employee productivity within an organisation. In educational institutions, educational support staff play a vital role in facilitating administration, academic services, and the management of school operations. This study aims to analyse the impact of performance evaluation on the productivity of educational support staff through a literature review approach. The research methodology involves a review of various scholarly journals, books, and relevant prior studies concerning performance evaluation, work motivation, organisational culture, the work environment, and the productivity of educational support staff. The literature examined covers the period from 2020 to 2025 and was sourced from Google Scholar, Garuda, and various accredited national journals. The findings indicate that performance evaluation significantly influences the improvement of productivity among educational support staff. Factors such as work motivation, competence, organisational culture, the work environment, supervision, and job satisfaction are shown to affect the quality of employee performance. An objective, transparent, and continuous evaluation system can enhance the motivation, discipline, and work effectiveness of educational support staff. Consequently, educational institutions should implement a robust performance evaluation system to improve the quality of their human resources and the overall effectiveness of the educational organisation.
