Peran Electronic Performance Management Dalam Meningkatkan Objektivitas Sistem Evaluasi Kinerja

Year: 2026
Type: article
Study design: Systematic Review
Abstract: Conventional performance evaluations are often influenced by evaluator subjectivity biases such as the halo effect and recency bias. This study aims to examine the role of Electronic Performance Management (E-PM) in improving the objectivity of performance evaluation systems in the era of digital transformation. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from 17 reputable national and international literature sources published between 2018 and 2026, and then analyzed using a thematic synthesis technique. The review results show that the implementation of E-PM effectively transforms evaluations into an evidence-based process, mathematically suppressing the probability of bias, and significantly increasing transparency as well as procedural justice. However, achieving absolute objectivity faces socio-technical challenges; technological reliability (software) must be supported by infrastructure stability (hardware) alongside user digital literacy and acceptance (brainware). In conclusion, the digitalization of performance evaluation is highly effective in eliminating managerial subjectivity, provided that organizations successfully implement change management to overcome cultural resistance.
