Abstract: This article systematically analyzes effective mathematics teaching methods used in Japan, China, Singapore, and Canada, and examines their application in Kazakhstani secondary schools. The study was conducted in grades 8-9, where international approaches (open-ended problem-solving, the 5E model, the CPA framework, and RMT tasks) were gradually integrated into both theoretical and practical components of instruction. The findings indicate that these methods significantly enhance students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics, improve logical reasoning and proof skills, and increase learning motivation. The experimental results demonstrate improved academic performance in both high-achieving and low-achieving groups.
