Cosmology of Snap-buckling: a Falsifiable Analogue Model for Resolving Five Λcdm Anomalies

Abstract: The standard cosmological model (ΛCDM) faces a series of fundamental anomalies (early massive galaxies, CMB Cold Spot, satellite planes, cosmic dipole, Axis of Evil), the explanation of which requires the introduction of hypothetical "dark" entities. This paper proposes a falsifiable alternative—the Snap-Buckling Model (SBM), based on the concept of analogue gravity and interpreting the Big Bang as a local topological phase transition in a highly stressed elastic medium. The uniqueness of the methodology lies in the application of a dual-channel narrative: we deliberately use accessible macroscopic analogues (elastic tissue dynamics, roll folding, the "snap-buckling" effect of a cavity) as pedagogical "scaffolding". At the same time, it is strictly demonstrated that these intuitive metaphors possess a mathematical isomorphism with the apparatuses of brane cosmology and the nonlinear dynamics of topological defects. This approach makes the most complex topology accessible to a new generation of researchers without losing a gram of scientific rigor. The SBM model resolves five key ΛCDM anomalies exclusively through the geometry and kinematics of a multi-layered elastic medium, without invoking ad hoc scalar fields. We show that the "Cold Spot" and the "Axis of Evil" are not statistical outliers, but direct macroscopic imprints of anisotropic twisting and adiabatic cooling in topological traps. The key achievement of the work is the formulation of rigid, targeted testable predictions, translating the model from the realm of speculative to the status of an observational program. In particular, the model predicts the discovery of an asymmetric spiral pattern of B-mode polarization (a "comet's tail") at the boundaries of the Cold Spot. Moreover, SBM postulates antipodal topological symmetry: if the observed supermassive attractors (the Great Attractor and the Shapley Supercluster) are the projection of "sink funnels" on one pole of the forming structure, the model strictly predicts the presence of a mirror gravitational gradient in the antipodal region with specific coordinates. This allows transitioning from abstract searches to targeted verification using current astrophysical surveys. Consciously rejecting the strict Cosmological Principle, the work proposes a transition from the paradigm of an "expanding gas" to the paradigm of a "dynamically folding elastic structure," opening new paths at the intersection of physics, topology, and continuum mechanics.
