Abstract: Dear Mr. and Mrs. Truth, Humility, and Sacrifice is a philosophical poem that explores the challenges of upholding truth, humility, kindness, and sacrifice in a world where these virtues are not always reciprocated. Through a reflective dialogue with the conscience, the poem examines the complexities of human relationships, the pain of disappointment and betrayal, and the importance of maintaining moral integrity while establishing healthy personal boundaries. Ultimately, it reaffirms the enduring value of these virtues, emphasising that goodness should not be treated as a bargain for favourable outcomes, but as a lifelong commitment to ethical living, spiritual growth, and the pursuit of peace in this life and the Hereafter.
