Geometric Dynamics Origin of theFine-Structure Constant

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Based on the monistic ontology of the Geometric Dynamics Unifed Theory (GDUT),this paper undertakes a thorough materialist reconstruction of the fundamental concepts of quantum mechanics and the origin of the fne-structure constant. The study proposes that all waves are curvature stress deformations of the three-dimensional spatial medium, and the energy density of a wave packet is strictly proportional to the fourth power of its frequency. The double-slit interference and wave function collapse are reduced to the geometric super-position of curvature felds and impedance dissipation. On this basis, this paper derives the nonlinear dynamic mechanism of the phase transition from photons to electrons: when high-energy photon collisions break through the spatial rheological hardening threshold, a”dual 90-degree” Möbius folding occurs, forming a Hopfon topological soliton. This model not only provides a pure geometric explanation for spin 1/2, point charge, mass generation, and electron-positron pair entanglement, but also completely decodes the fne-structure constantα—it is not a mysterious coupling strength, but rather the”geometric contraction ratio” of the spatial topological phase transition and the”ratio of topological boundary strain energy to the fundamental action.” Based on this, the paper presents quantitative equations for the evolution ofα with spatial density and proposes several explicit predictions that can be tested by existing technologies.
